Fail yang anda mahu tambah kata laluan tidak perlu menjadi fail yang sudah ada. Anda juga boleh membuat folder baru yang akan memegang maklumat sensitif anda. Sebaik sahaja anda memutuskan sama ada ia akan menjadi folder baru atau tidak, buka folder dan klik kanan pada ruang kosong dan cari pilihan Baru.
Apabila tetingkap baru muncul, pilih pilihan yang mengatakan Dokumen Teks dan tekan Enter. Jangan bimbang tentang nama dokumen itu kerana anda boleh memadam fail teks sebaik kata laluan dibuat.

Cara Tambah Kata Laluan
Carilah bahagian yang mengatakan ¨ Sandi Anda Di sini ¨ dan ganti dengan kata laluan yang anda mahu folder itu ada. Kini, klik pada Fail dan pilih Save As. Klik pada bahagian Simpan sebagai jenis yang harus diletakkan secara automatik pada .txt. Pilih Semua Fail dan kemudian namakan fail FolderLocker.bat.
Sebaik sahaja anda telah menamakan folder tersebut, jangan lupa klik pada Simpan. Klik dua kali pada FolderLocker dan kata laluan kini aktif. Mula menambahkan dokumen yang ingin anda lindungi ke folder Folder Locker yang baru anda buat.
Buka fail FolderLocker dan pada skrin seterusnya ketik huruf Y. Tekan Enter dan folder kini akan hilang mengambil apa sahaja yang anda masukkan kepadanya.
Sekarang setelah selesai tugas, klik dua kali pada FolderLocker untuk membukanya. Dalam command prompt, ketik kata laluan, anda buat lebih awal dan tekan Enter. Folder FolderLocker kini akan kembali bersama-sama dengan semua fail rahsia anda.
